Sigade Umzila Maskandi Annual Festival

The Sigade Umzila Maskandi Annual Festival is a groundbreaking cultural and music festival dedicated exclusively to the Maskandi music genre. This festival is the first of its kind in Johannesburg, South Africa. It aims to celebrate, preserve, and elevate this rich, traditional sound to national and international audiences. Hosted at the iconic Ellis Park Stadium, audiences can expect performances from Khuzani, Mthandeni, Limit, Menzi, Lwa Ndlunkulu, Mjolisi and Gatsheni. More surprise acts and entertainment will be announced as we get closer to the day of the event. The event will be hosted by radio and social media sensation Penny Ntuli.
