The Jacaranda City Awards are an annual celebration of excellence, creativity, and legacy, honoring legends, trailblazers, and rising stars from the Capital City of South Africa ? Tshwane/Pretoria ? fondly known as Pitori. Inspired by the majestic Jacaranda trees that paint the city purple each spring, these awards symbolize a fresh breath of life, vibrancy, renewal, and the ever-blooming spirit of the city?s people.

Every year, between August and November, the jacarandas transform Pretoria into a purple paradise ? a global visual signature for the Capital. The Jacaranda City Awards will bloom during this magical time, aligning the blossoming season with a celebration of Pretoria's brightest and boldest talents.

The Experience
