Shorts & Shades Family Fun & Braai Day North is a vibrant family event at 26 on Pierre, Ruimsig, Roodepoort on April 27, 2026 from 10:00 to 16:00. Enjoy awesome, crazy fun with DJs on rotation, family competitions, colorful activities, magic shows, puppets, dancers and stilt walkers. There are face-painting stations, art workshops and interactive performances for all ages. Tickets are limited and available at Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, House & Home or online at Computicket. Ticket phases include Early Bird, General Phase 1?2 and Phase 3 with separate pricing for kids and adults. Guests are welcome to bring camp chairs, gazebos, umbrellas, picnic baskets, blankets, braai stands and cooler boxes (cans only; small R80, big R100). Weapons, drugs and pets are not allowed.
